Camp runs on us
Every trail, fire pit and party at TRC is built by its members. There's a job for every skill and every energy level.
There is no "staff" here. It's just us!
TRC is 100% volunteer-driven and non-profit. This camp is owned by you. It's kept alive, season after season, by members who love it enough to show up.
I didn't know anyone at TRC at first. I started helping with little things when asked, stacking wood, helping with tarps, little things that took almost no time. Soon I got to know a few people and made some great friends along the way. Camp really is what you make of it. I strongly recommend volunteering. You just might end up making some new friends.

Grounds & maintenance
Clear trails, repair around the property, and keep the place looking great.
Forestry & ecology
Help with firewood and learn about safe forest management across 80 acres of rainforest.
Power, comms, and tech
Keep the lights on and camp connected with electrical and internet.
Party decor & A/V
Decorate the party site, set up the stage, and create an amazing party in the woods.
Health & safety
Offer first aid or medical assistance, fire watch and wildlife awareness.
Host hut & greeting
Welcome new arrivals at the host hut, point folks to their sites and help them settle in.
Building projects
We have some big projects! New trails, party sites, and other projects shaping camp's future.
Marketing & outreach
Tell camp's story with photos (with personal privacy respected), social posts and spreading the word about TRC.
Setup & teardown
Help open camp in spring and put it to bed in fall — the all-hands weekends that bookend the season.
Help with our White Sands Party!
It's one of our biggest weekends of the summer, and we need help checking in all the lovely campers.
